Maggie Lindemann Ignites Melkweg with Alt-pop Energy

Last week, American singer Maggie Lindemann brought her intense alt-pop energy to Melkweg as part of her I Feel Everything’ European tour. Performing in the venue’s MAX hall, the show felt intimate and electrifying.

The 1,500-capacity space, famous for its close connection between artists and fans, was packed, though not quite sold out. With no barrier between the stage and the audience, fans were treated to an unusually intimate experience and the excitement in the room was obvious.

The night began with strong support sets from emerging UK acts Runaway Club and Afterdrive, warming up the audience before Lindemann’s arrival.

When Maggie Lindemann stepped on stage, the venue filled with dark synths, punchy guitars and the emotional intensity that defines her sound. Known for blending pop, rock and punk, she leaned fully into the darker tone of her recent music. Much of the set drew from her 2025 album I Feel Everything’. The record explores themes of obsession, anger, loss and survival – emotions that clearly connected with the Amsterdam crowd. Fans sang along to nearly every lyric, especially on fan-favourite tracks like ‘self sabotage’.

Going back, Lindemann first broke through with her 2016 hit ‘Pretty Girl’, which charted high across Europe. Over the past decade, she has developed into a more confident and versatile artist, with her latest work arguably showing her strongest songwriting yet.

Overall, her Melkweg performance was a powerful reminder of her global fanbase and ongoing artistic growth. She powered through an impressive 26-song set with impressive energy from start to finish. In the intimate venue, known for its close-up live experience, Lindemann delivered a show that felt personal and unforgettable, leaving the crowd talking long after the final note.
