Masked and Majestic: n0trixx’s Powerful Stage Takeover
Last week, n0trixx lit up Manchester at The Peer Hat with an electrifying performance in support of her debut album, ‘A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia’, released on 13th of March. The Manchester show, which was part of her UK tour that kicked off in London, was a testament to her dark, immersive artistry.
Wearing her signature gothic style with futuristic touches, n0trixx moved with fierce grace, commanding the stage alongside her guitarist and a mix of atmospheric sound effects. Her music, a bold fusion of metal, trap and synth elements, pulsed with unique energy, letting the audience feel the power behind every lyric, even through her black face mask. The result was a show as intense as the red light that drenched the venue throughout the night.
n0trixx captivated the audience with a striking blend of emotional vulnerability and experimental soundscapes that mirror the themes of her album. Speaking about ‘A Catalogue of Madness and Melancholia’, she explains: “I was halfway through writing the album when I realised that every track I was working on was a sonic representation of a certain mental health issue”. On stage, tracks exploring anxiety, depression and other inner struggles came alive, each delivered with a raw, introspective intensity. Fans were swept up in the immersive energy of the performance through a compelling mix of fearless experimentation and genre-defying sound.
The tour wraps up this weekend with two final shows: 4th of April in Gloucester at Alt All Dayer and 5th of April in Bristol at Exchange, promising more of n0trixx’s striking, boundary-pushing artistry. After witnessing her Manchester set, it’s clear that she’s an artist unafraid to delve into darkness while creating a thrilling, unforgettable live experience – definitely not to be missed.
