NOTHING MORE Shake the Belasco in LA

NOTHING MORE turned the iconic 1,500-capacity Belasco into an anthem-filled, ground-shaking uproar during their first Los Angeles stop on the Carnal Nature Tour. Supported by Doobie, Archers and Catch Your Breath, the night pulsed with messages of unity, resilience and respect — underscored by violent mosh pits, nonstop crowdsurfers and a crowd screaming every lyric back at the stage. By the end of the night, the room was drenched in sweat, spilled drinks and cathartic release.

Opening the night, Doobie set the pace with a no-frills metalcore set. Heavy riffs and aggressive vocals quickly woke the room up. With little focus on visuals and more on impact, their confrontational approach prepared the crowd for the night ahead.

Archers followed, raising the energy with ‘Made for Love’. Their mix of heavy instrumentation and melodic vocals had the crowd jumping and moshing from the first breakdown. Once crowd surfing started, bodies filled the air. They moved straight into ‘Say This Sober’, keeping the momentum steady with a balance of emotion and heaviness. Mid-set, the unreleased ‘The Dirt’ stood out and was met with clear excitement. ‘Making Eyes’ drew a loud response before flowing into ‘Never Enough’, where moshing and crowd surfing peaked again. ‘Bitter’ kept the tension high before closing with ‘Perfect Strangers’, a strong finish that balanced melody and weight. Archers didn’t just warm up the Belasco — they claimed it, showing their growth through emotional songs and strong crowd connection.

Catch Your Breath delivered one of the most emotional sets of the night. Opening with ‘Savages’, the pit erupted immediately. ‘Deadly’ and ‘Dark’ kept the energy high and security busy. ‘Ghost Inside the Shell’ leaned into darker tones, while ‘Lost’ and ‘Good in Goodbye’ brought loud singalongs, the latter dedicated to fans who felt alone. ‘Y.S.K.W.’ and ‘21 Gun Salute’ kept the floor moving before ‘Dial Tone’ and ‘Shame On Me’ closed the set.

When NOTHING MORE took the stage, the shift was immediate. Strobe lights flashed before ‘HOUSE ON SAND’ kicked things off. Despite battling food poisoning, Jonny Hawkins delivered a strong performance. ‘Let ’Em Burn’ and ‘IF IT DOESN’T HURT’ kept the energy high, while ‘Go to War’ turned the room into a unified chant.

‘FREEFALL’ gave the crowd a brief moment to breathe before a short solo section highlighted the band’s musicianship. ‘Jenny’ became one of the night’s standout moments, with the entire room singing along. ‘STUCK’ followed and ‘This Is the Time (Ballast)’ closed the night with fists in the air and every lyric shouted back.

NOTHING MORE didn’t just play a show — they created a space for release, connection and collective energy. From the openers to the final note, the Carnal Nature Tour proved why the band continues to resonate so deeply with fans: heavy music with purpose, intensity with heart and chaos guided by unity.
